Terms of Service
Last changed: 25 September 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering your school on Sajama Campus, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between your school ("you") and Sajama Technologies ("we", "us").
2. The Service
Sajama Campus provides a cloud-based school management platform with portals for administrators, teachers, students, and parents. Features include results management, lesson delivery, quizzes, assignments, attendance tracking, announcements, and payment processing.
3. Account Registration
- Each school receives a unique school code upon registration.
- The school administrator is responsible for all accounts created under their school.
- All users must be real individuals. Fake accounts are prohibited.
- You must provide accurate and current information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
4. Payments
School Subscription
GHS 1,500 per year. Covers the entire school's platform access. A 14-day free trial is provided to all new schools. If not renewed, all portals are suspended until payment is made.
Teacher Addition
GHS 50 per teacher, one-time payment. Teacher accounts remain active as long as the school subscription is active. No yearly renewal per teacher.
Student Platform Access
GHS 40 per student per academic year, paid by the student's family. It covers that student's access to current results, lessons, quizzes, and assignments. Results from previous academic years remain viewable without payment. Each child is unlocked separately, so an unpaid sibling does not block a paid child. Students are informed about this charge by their school.
Under the standard new partnership, the school is allocated 30% (GHS 12) of each collected student access fee; Sajama retains 70% (GHS 28) before its costs and bears processing fees. Only successful payments earn a share. Remittance timing follows the signed school agreement. Existing signed terms and historical payment allocations are not changed retroactively.
All payments are processed through Paystack. Sajama Campus does not store card details. Failed payments do not activate the corresponding service.
5. School Responsibilities
- You are the data controller for your students' and parents' personal data.
- You must give appropriate notices and establish the authority or consent required by applicable law before supplying student or guardian data.
- You must inform students and parents about the platform access fee.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of academic data entered into the platform.
- You must not use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
- You must not attempt to access another school's data.
6. Sajama Campus Responsibilities
- We maintain the platform and aim for reliable availability. Recorded health samples are not a contractual uptime guarantee; any separate service-level agreement must be agreed in writing.
- We protect all data with industry-standard encryption and security measures.
- We apply school- and role-based access controls to isolate records; security controls do not eliminate all risk.
- We process payments securely through Paystack (PCI DSS Level 1).
- We provide email support at support@sajamacampus.com.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Data Ownership
Your school retains its rights in school records, subject to individuals’ rights and applicable law. Processing roles, permitted purposes and responsibilities are explained in the school data-processing notice and the school agreement. You may export your data at any time by contacting support. If you close your account, we will provide a full data export within 30 days and delete your data within 60 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes).
8. Prohibited Use
- Attempting to access data belonging to another school or user.
- Sharing login credentials with unauthorized individuals.
- Uploading malicious files or content that violates Ghanaian law.
- Using the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code.
- Using automated tools to scrape or download data from the platform.
9. Service Suspension
We may suspend your school's access if: (a) your subscription expires and is not renewed within 30 days; (b) you violate these terms; (c) we detect fraudulent or abusive activity; (d) required by law. Suspended accounts retain all data and can be reactivated by renewing the subscription or resolving the issue.
10. Limitation of Liability
Sajama Campus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for: (a) loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control; (b) decisions made based on data displayed on the platform; (c) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by your school in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance via email to school administrators. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana.
